A Church Rated Ministries is the personal ministry of Pastor Chris Byars and the Byars family.
In the ever changing world that confronts us the reality is that our God never changes. A Church Rated Ministries grew out of a desire for doing ministry differently. Currently Pastor Chris Byars serves as pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Gillett, WI (clockchurch.org). The focus is to develop and grow in a way that is different from the world. The patterns of the world have creeped into our congregations which often creates unnecessary divisions between parents and children.
A passion for Pastor Chris, as a father of six, is to develop a congregation that extends far beyond Sunday morning worship, Sunday School, and Confirmation, but places the focus back on the faith development in families. Many parents may not feel equipped to effectively teach the faith of Christ to their children. Our hope is to change that.
As a child, my parents were not the center of my faith education. They were not equipped and were dependent upon the church to teach the faith. This is contrary to God's desire and my goal is to change that reality in the homes of families by giving parents the tools to begin that journey. I am excited to see where this takes us and hope that you enjoy the journey as well. Pastor Chris
