In keeping with the grace of God given to me, as a wise master builder, I laid a foundation, and someone else is building on it. But let each person be careful how he builds on it. In fact, no one can lay any other foundation than the one that has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:10–11, EHV
We are always called to remember the faith that we have been given as our Lord Jesus Christ gave it to us. The reality of the faith is that we are called to take a unique part in the building up of the Church. As we are built upon the teachings given to us by our Lord, we can walk together in our journeys and utilize the gifts given to us in Christ Jesus, so we may extend the grace our Lord has given us to so many searching for His hope and truth. This message extends beyond all boundaries in our lives because it is not only meant to be a portion of who we are, but to be bring us to focus on the whole and be a light into the lives of those that are trapped and constrained in the bondage of the deceiver. As we remember the great victory won for us all in our Lord’s death and resurrection, we are drawn ever closer to His promise of peace and in His peace we shine out His hope and walk ever comforted in His promises.
Let us pray. I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I ask you to protect me this day also from sin and every evil, that in all I do today, I may please you. For into your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all that is mine. Let your holy angel watch over me, that the wicked foe have no power over me. Amen.
