The LORD is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah

Psalm 9:16, NKJV

Hell is a choice. God has made Himself known. His words are true. His judgments are just. We are the ones who choose sin. We choose our wants. We choose to follow our hearts and seek to be true to ourselves. It is God who chose to enter creation. He chose to suffer the indignities of this world. He chose the ridicule, the scourging, and finally the nails. It was His work for our salvation. Jesus took it all for you and for me. He became sin, so we could know His glory and enter into His kingdom. We can proclaim the name of our Lord because He has given us His name. We cry out. He hears. It is the proud who fail to acknowledge this and make His name a mockery. It does not diminish the work He has done for us. It does not rob Him of any glory or power. He calls us to Himself, and in our humility, we listen and come to Him. Hell is a choice for those who choose not to hear, a choice for those who desire to follow their bliss. Follow Jesus and let go of your bliss and enter into His peace.

Let us pray. I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I ask you to protect me this day also from sin and every evil, that in all I do today, I may please you. For into your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all that is mine. Let your holy angel watch over me, that the wicked foe have no power over me. Amen.
