Galatians 2:20

If you'd like to watch on Rumble click here or on YouTube click here!

I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Galatians 2:20, LSB

Faith in Jesus Christ is life-changing. Some may not know this if they have grown up in the Church and never had a time in their lives when Christ was not present. Those who have been so blessed are the lucky ones. However, many born in Christian homes have had epiphanies and have come to a moment when the realization of Christ’s sacrifice became more than what they had been taught and something changed. In the realization of the sacrifice of Christ for us in His crucifixion doors in our lives open as we move from living for ourselves to living for Christ. When we live for Christ, our priorities change. Some of the things that were of such high importance no longer matter. Families are changed by the realization of Christ’s sacrifice and the depths of its meaning. We know that our lives in this mortal flesh are an imperfect depiction of what will be when we are fully reunited with our Lord, but that does not excuse us from living lives that are dishonoring to God and against our Lord Jesus Christ. We are not meant to live our lives glorifying sin but Christ and Christ alone. As we give our lives over to Him, we cannot live the same as everyone else. After all, we no longer live for the world because we are only in the world not of the world and that is where we find Christ’s peace.

Let us pray. I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I ask you to protect me this day also from sin and every evil, that in all I do today, I may please you. For into your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all that is mine. Let your holy angel watch over me, that the wicked foe have no power over me. Amen.
