God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:10, RSV

In our journey of faith and through our humility of following our Lord Jesus Christ, He reveals to us all things we need to show His glory. We are humbled in our walk as we know that all things come from Him, and the great things we may do are done through His gifting and His revelation. We are utilized by our Lord to be a light to those who are in need, and we are the passive receivers of His grace and mercy. Our salvation is all Him, and the works we accomplish are the fruit of His Spirit working within us. As we walk closer with our Lord, we find His grace more and more. He reveals to us more of the glory of the coming kingdom, and the blessings are multiplied in our lives. This doesn’t mean we won’t know suffering or struggle, but our hearts will be changed as we feel His grace carry us through all difficulties. In our weakness, we find His strength to hold us up, knowing that there is nothing more that we could cling to because He is the source of everything, and in Him alone, can we find peace.

Let us pray. I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I ask you to protect me this day also from sin and every evil, that in all I do today, I may please you. For into your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all that is mine. Let your holy angel watch over me, that the wicked foe have no power over me. Amen.
