As everyone has received a gift, even so serve one another with it, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1 Peter 4:10, MEV

God’s grace is abundant, and He gives it abundantly to us, His chosen people. Our Lord gives this gift to us not so we can walk in comfort alone, but to share with others and be a beacon to those who are searching for the freedom our Lord gives. We are reminded by our Lord to be joyful in His gifts and to do all things to show His glory. As followers of Christ, our hearts are meant to be full of gratitude and contentment, and not be like those caught up in the world with grumbling and dissatisfaction. Our lives are conduits of God’s abundant grace, and we are the receivers of His fellowship as we walk united in the knowledge of the glorious gifts He has bestowed upon us. It is through our reflections of His grace and mercy that others may come to know His peace.

Let us pray. I thank you, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, your dear Son, that you have kept me this night from all harm and danger, and I ask you to protect me this day also from sin and every evil, that in all I do today, I may please you. For into your hands, I commend myself, my body and soul, and all that is mine. Let your holy angel watch over me, that the wicked foe have no power over me. Amen.
